Austin, Texas Rally for Non-GMO Foods

On Sunday, October 2, there's going to be a rally at the Capitol in Austin, protesting against GMOs (genetically-modified/engineered foods) and demanding labeling. This is the first step in a campaign to push for labeling at both the federal and state levels.

Why? We want GMO food to be labeled so people can choose – and can make an informed decision about what they eat. GMOs have found their way into our ecology, our economy, and our food, and there are currently few legal means of even identifying them.

What? "Rally For Real Food" – Plant Yourself at the TX State Capital & Pressure the Government About the Lack of Labeling of Genetically Engineered Foods

Where? South Steps of the Texas State Capital

When? Sunday Oct. 2 12:00 noon - 3:00 PM
