After last year's drought (the worst in history here, according to some experts), I really thought we'd never see another drop of rain. Then, one day, it started raining. Our rain barrels overflowed and we had real puddles in the yard! Puddles! Imagine that. LOL
Now it's raining again, and the experts are saying that it'll be a wet winter. That's a good thing for the aquifers, but not so good for those of us who like planting winter veggies now.
Just yesterday I bought a 9-pack of red lettuce and collard greens. I also have spinach seeds to plant. I may have to plant them in the mud, but it's better than trying to plant them in cement! LOL
