How do YOU consume water?

From the Texas Drought Project website:

"Texans may not always agree on politics, religion, or football, but they all agreed that drought of 2007-2009 was one of the worst they had ever experienced.

Farmers, ranchers, city-dwellers, educators, and scientists expressed their concerns that Texas can no longer provide enough water for its citizens." And I'll add gardeners to that list!

What can we do about it? Read the rest of the article from the The Texas Drought Project, then go outside and replace some of that water-wasting lawn with some natives.

And if you're still not convinced that we have a serious water problem, read this article and check out the Climate Change Impact map.

Happy trails,

You're welcome, Sage Butterfly. I've been preaching about water conservation for years, and it's even more important these days.

I took a look at your wonderful blog...keep up the good work!
